As we cross the threshold that closes the door to spring and opens us into the portal of summer, we turn to the breath for guidance into what is to come. Together, we tune into what may be blocking us from manifesting our highest good and explore ways to create more joy, clarity, and abundance in our lives.

The energy of the sun reminds us to shine fully in this moment and reconnect with the smiles within our hearts. And if your reaction to those words is “I can’t” or “I don’t know how,” then let us meet those spaces within ourselves with compassion, curiosity, and love — and simply witness what begins to unfold.

The mainstay of our evening together will be a Conscious Breathwork Journey, supported by meditation, movement, and sound to help open the body, quiet the mind, and reconnect us to the wisdom already within.

About Conscious Breathwork:

When used in specific ways, breathing allows us to release and integrate emotions, belief systems, stresses, and memories that are often inaccessible through the more conventional talking therapies.

Breathing, beyond the basic need for survival, acts as a bridge between spirit, mind, and body—a bridge between the conscious and the subconscious. “Conscious Breathing” is one of the quickest ways to open our hearts to love and inner peace and to fill our bodies with life and health. Connecting the inhale with the exhale consciously and continuously is one of the most effective ways of connecting us to ourselves, to each other, and all of us to nature and existence. Conscious breathing allows us to go into the deepest realities of life, to acknowledge our life processes, and to set the ground for personal transformation while reaching higher states of consciousness.

“Breathwork” involves the study and practice of breath awareness and conscious breathing for spirit, mind, and body. Breathworkers use the breath and breathing techniques as tools for health, growth, therapy, and change. Breath mastery can be used to enhance and accelerate human development and learning on all levels. Breathwork and breathing techniques are now being taught all over the world!

Beginner’s mind is is encouraged. No previous experience required to attend.

What to Bring: Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat. Dress comfortably in layers. We have a lot of props to make you comfortable, including zabutons, bolsters, and blankets. You are welcome to bring your own blanket or pillow to ensure your comfort during the breath session, which is typically done lying down.
