DESCRIPTION:Join Shelley Hoffos for Reiki Restorative + Sound Bath. \nShelley is a Reiki Master & Compassionate Intuitive Healer. \nAfter a brief centering\, she will lead you through classic restorative yoga poses to create gentle openings\, which bring the body back to its natural alignment. You will be fully supported in each pose\, allowing the muscles to relax and open while encouraging the release of stress and anxiety and providing ease to your body and mind. \nThe Healing Touch of Reiki: While in these poses\, she will share the healing touch of Reiki with each student. Reiki is a form of energy therapy that enhances the natural healing system of the body and creates relaxation and a sense of well-being.\nDuring Reiki\, the brain goes into an alpha state similar to that experienced during meditation or right before falling asleep. During the energy healing\, Shelley picks up on intuitive insights specific to each student. Expect a note at the top of your mat where she will write down intuitive messages for you to take home with you that will help create balance and support you in your overall well-being. At the end of the session\, settle in for an extended savasana with the healing vibes of the beautiful singing bowls. \nThe combination of restorative yoga and Reiki healing provides a night of powerful healing and beautiful relaxation. \nClass size is very limited to enhance the experience of all students and participants. Energetically\, cacao is a powerful plant medicine that allows us to see and experience life from the frequency of the heart. If there is something just underneath the surface\, cacao may open your ability to access it. \nAfter drinking cacao\, we will drop into a Sound Bath. Separately\, cacao and sound are incredibly healing medicines. As the body relaxes\, you will be immersed in waves of therapeutic sound created with crystal singing bowls\, chimes\, a singing pyramid\, and the rhythmic tones of the ocean drum. \nThese vibrations move through the body like ripples through water\, helping release tension\, calm the nervous system\, and bring the mind into a meditative state. Many people experience a sense of deep relaxation\, clarity\, and energetic balance. \nSimply lie down\, get comfortable\, and allow the sound to guide you inward. \nNo experience is needed. \nWe have all the props at the studio: yoga mats\, blankets\, bolsters\, and eye pillows.
