DESCRIPTION:Hike and Meditation. \nCome experience nature and a contemplative hike. Enjoy a relaxed guided walk with friends at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park near Cochrane\, a short meditation\, hike and an optional picnic lunch afterward. \nWe will meet at 9:30 am for a short walk to our meditation site. Arrive by 9:20am to settle in and get oriented. Meet to the right of the parking lot at the top of the trail towards the visitor centre. \nAfter a short guided meditation\, join the hike which includes 3 contemplative stopping points intended to help us deepen our meditation and reflections. We will follow easy paved trails through the park ending in the option to eat together. \nThe park is an active cattle ranch and spans over 3\,000 acres of native fescue grasslands so keep an eye out for cattle grazing\, plus tons of wildflowers and birds! Plus\, enjoy stunning views of the Rockies to the west and the surrounding areas. The hiking is easy and will take approximately 1.5 hours. \nWhat to bring: \n\na packed lunch if you’d like to eat together after the hike\nhats\, sunglasses\, sunblock\, and anything that will make your hike more comfortable\nwater\na small cushion/blanket to sit on for the morning meditation\ncomfortable runners or hiking boots\na small or easy to carry back pack for your lunch\, water\, etc.\n\nEveryone welcome.
