Tai Chi & Qigong Tai Chi is a relatively modern martial art based on longevity practices passed down for thousands of years from the legendary Wudang Mountains.
Often described as a moving meditation, its reputation has spread widely as a gentle way of promoting relaxation, balance, and flexibility, aiding the body in its own healing processes. Qigong can be used for Martial, Medical or Mystical practices, some form of which is trained in every style of Chinese Kung Fu or can be practiced as an art unto itself.
Class requirements: comfortable clothes you can move in, shoes or bare feet, and a playful mind.
Eddy Lao Shi started his journey at the turn of the millennium in Nelson BC under the tutelage of Sifu Eric Eastman. For several years he learned from everyone who had something to share related to Martial Arts, Chinese Medicine and Daoist Practices.
