Safe to Be: A Root Chakra Somatic Sound Journey [WORKSHOP] with Tiffany Sparrow
- This event has passed.
March 8 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
This journey is an invitation to rest into your foundation and remember that it is safe to be here, exactly as you are. The Root Chakra, Muladhara, is the energetic home of our sense of belonging, stability, and trust in life. When balanced, it restores our natural right to feel safe, grounded, and worthy of taking up space.
Through breath, the healing vibrations of sound, gentle somatic awareness, and simple chanting, we’ll create a space where your body can soften, your nervous system can settle, and your roots can deepen. Drums, bowls, and voice will guide you into resonance with the earth—awakening safety, trust, and the embodied knowing that you belong.
Together, we’ll weave practices that:
Ground and settle the body through breath and somatic awareness
Activate the root chakra with rhythmic sound, vibration, and voice
Chant together to strengthen grounding, connection, resonance, and presence
Soundscape of drums, bowls, and voice to activate and balance the root chakra
Somatic prompts and release affirmations to cultivate presence, embodiment, and safety
Integration time to land in your body and carry grounded energy forward
You’ll leave this session with:
A deeper sense of grounded safety and
Restored felt sense of trust within yourself
Ability to reclaim your birthright to belong and feel at home in your body
This is a space to root down, release what weighs you, and return to the simple truth:
It is safe to be here as me.
What to Bring: Water bottle and yoga mat, notebook and pen (optional). Dress comfortably in layers. We have a lot of props to make yourself comfortable including chairs, zabutons, bolsters, and blankets.
